1% for the European Seas
We are supporting Healthy Seas with 1% of our sales. They are a rad organisation that reduces marine litter through cleanups with volunteer divers, prevention and education activities. Fishing nets collected are sent to our recycling partner Aquafil to regenerate, together with other nylon waste, into high-quality ECONYL®. After the process, this raw material is transformed into brand new Karün eco-friendly sunglasses and frames.

11th Hour Racing Team ♡ Karün
During the last Volvo Ocean Race, we joined forces with 11th Hour Racing Team, and now we’re happy to announce that our partnership will continue on to the next race. Our mutual understanding of the importance of the wellbeing of the oceans, hence planet, along with the shared passion for nature and the willpower to make a difference are all foundations for this extraordinary collaboration. Read all about it here...
Our Value Chain
We are making the highest quality eyewear, in an entirely different way; instead of a linear and extractive production process - which is used by most companies in the world - we are working hard to build our entire value chain under a circular, restorative and eventually regenerative model. REKABA: Transforming waste into opportunities
A fundamental part of our philosophy is to integrate the value of conserving, preserving and caring for the planet in everything we do by being an active part of it..
