These terms only apply to purchases made on this website.

Solutions

Warranty for factory fault 

If your situation corresponds to a factory fault within the warranty time, you can choose between the following options:

-Exchange for the same product 

-Exchange for a product of Greater Value (The client must pay for the difference)

-Exchange for a product of equal value

-Exchange for a lower-value product (the difference in price will not be refunded)

-Reimbursement (only the first 3 months) (Amount to be defined according to the situation)

Warranty for Internal management error 

If your situation corresponds to a warranty due to an Internal Management error (Check the Warranty section for more information), you can choose between the following options: 

-Exchange for the same product 

-Exchange for a product of Greater Value (The client must pay for the difference)

-Exchange for a product of equal value

-Exchange for a lower-value product (the difference in price will not be refunded)

-Reimbursement (Amount to be defined according to the situation)

Right to withdrawal warranty 

If your situation corresponds to a warranty by right of withdrawal, you can choose between the following options:

-Exchange for the same product 

-Exchange for a product of Greater Value (The client must pay for the difference)

-Exchange for a product of equal value

-Exchange for a lower-value product (the difference in price will not be refunded)

-Reimbursement (Amount to be defined according to the situation)

Out of warranty
If your situation corresponds to "out of warranty", do not worry, there is always a way:

- Recycling: If your glasses have reached the end of their useful life, we can transform them into a new product and reward you with a 25% discount on a new purchase.

 

Who pays what and how much 

You might be asking yourself: And how much should I pay if I want an exchange? How much do they reimburse me?

This is evaluated case by case, but we guide our calculations on the following: “All essential costs are paid by Karün if it is within the warranty. Any additional cost that arises from a free choice of the client, must be paid by the client.” 

We know that putting this phrase into practice can be tricky, so we created an explanatory list so you can know in advance how much we should charge or reimburse.

Amount to be paid for the exchange of the products 

Shipments

Karün pays and manages the shipments:

     - Factory fault warranty

     - Warranty for internal management error

Customer pays and manages shipments:

     - Right of withdrawal warranty

     - Out of warranty

Differences of price for the new frames

Karün pays the difference 

     - When there is no frame of the same or lower price

Costumer pays the difference: 

     - When you choose a frame of grater value having options of equal or lesser value

 

Amount to be paid for the refund

Shipments

We do refund: 

     - Factory fault warranty

     - Warranty for internal management error

We don’t refund: 

     - Right of withdrawal warranty

     - Out of warranty

Frames 

We do refund: 

     - Factory fault warranty

     - Warranty for internal management error

     - Out of warranty

 

Taxes and Import fees

We are not responsible for any action taken by customs, additional taxes or fees. The recipient of import packages is responsible for customs charges that may apply to the shipment.

You didn’t buy the glasses through our website? 

If you have purchased the product from a partner store, we recommend that you contact them directly for the necessary support.

How to prepare the product for return?

Prepare the glasses as they came initially, in their original package and with all their items inside. The product you return must come without any signs of use. We inspect the returned product before proceeding with any exchange or refund.

Make sure that the package is well sealed for shipping and go to the dispatch provider of your choice to send it to the address indicated above.
